Although a heart attack can happen to anyone at any time, but research has revealed those things that reveal the time when heart attacks are the most.  You may not know that –

Monday is the day of the week when heart attacks are the most. Saturday after that.

Most heart attacks occur in the morning.  Within 4 pm to 10 pm.

Winter season is called the season of heart attack.

Heart attack is more fatal for women than men. Women are more likely to die within a year after having a heart attack for the first time than men.

Why the most heart attack on Monday?

Monday is considered the worst day of the week.So because it is difficult for anyone to go back to work after the holiday. But another reason to dislike this day is also our heart.According to a Swedish registry study, heart attacks are the most likely to occur on Monday.Researchers took this data from the records of about one and a half million people who had a heart attack.

According to the study published in the American Heart Journal, there are some times when people are more under stress and that time period is associated with the rate of heart attack. Compared to the rest of the days, myocardial infarction i.e. heart attack, winter holidays and Mondays were found to be the highest while the lowest were found on weekends in summer.  Most of us would agree that we relax the most in the summer and on weekends.  Therefore the risk is less.

People feel the most stress on monday

At the same time, the same was found in a study by the National Heart Foundation Australia. This research was done on 45 thousand heart patients. It was found that the number of people who had a heart attack on Monday was 27% more than the rest of the days. This is because people feel the greatest pressure of work on Monday, after remaining unscathed on the weekend of two days.

Most heart attacks occur in winter

Although a heart attack can occur in any season, it is most likely to happen in winter. There can be many reasons which further reinforce this possibility in winter.  Such as barometric pressure, humidity, wind, and cold. This cold weather has a negative effect on our body, which increases the activity of the nervous system, our blood vessels shrink, the blood becomes thick and there can be many negative effects. Due to which the chances of heart attack are more.  Research also found that the highest number of heart attacks occurred in December while the lowest were in July.

How is a heart attack

A heart attack occurs when a coronary artery (a blood vessel that carries blood to the heart) that has already contracted due to heart disease is completely blocked, usually because of a blood clot. It deprives our heart of oxygenated blood, which causes the muscle cells, or muscle cells, to die, causing our heart to not pump enough blood to all parts of the body.

Do not ignore any heart problem, seek medical advice immediately.

Heart attack in the morning is the most dangerous

Heart attacks are most common in the morning, but research also says that morning attacks are also the most dangerous. Researchers at Spain’s National Center for Cardiovascular Research, after examining data from 800 patients, found that heart attacks that occurred in the morning were found to be 20% higher than dead muscle cells.

We are more susceptible to heart attacks in the morning than at other times of the day because at this time our heart has to work more than the rest of the time.  Our coronary arteries are more narrow and the power to eliminate blood clots is over at this time.

Women are more at risk

Heart attack is more fatal for women than men. Women are more likely to die within a year after having a heart attack for the first time than men.

Heart disease is more dangerous for women

A survey conducted by The American Heart Association stated that people often think of heart attack as a problem that mainly affects men. But the truth is that women are affected more by heart attacks than men. Both men and women experience chest pain when they have a heart attack, but women experience shortness of breath, pain in one or both arms, neck, back, jaw or stomach, nausea, dizziness, and cold sweating. These are symptoms that are not commonly seen in men. These symptoms are common, so women often ignore it as acid reflex.  According to the report, the probability of death within a year after having a first heart attack is 26 percent in women and 19 percent in men.
