You can make sandwiches even without bread, note these 3 recipes

1. Make sandwiches with semolina

Yes, you can make sandwiches with the help of semolina also. This sandwich will be ready in 10 minutes and filled with vegetables and cheese, the sandwich will be nutritious and tasty. Your kids will love it.

Ingredients for making sandwich with semolina-

  • 2 cups semolina
  • 1/3 cup curd
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • Capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp sweet corn
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 cup water
  • Cheese Slices

Method of making semolina sandwich-

Add semolina and diya in a big bowl and mix well.

Add finely chopped onions and all other ingredients into it. Keep the thing separate.

Do not dilute the batter. It should be of thick consistency. Keep the batter covered for 5 minutes.

Heat the sandwich by connecting it to the switch and grease it with ghee or butter.

Mix the batter again and spread it in the sandwich maker. Now place one slice of cheese each and place another layer on top.

Cover the sandwich maker and allow the sandwich to be made. Your breadless sandwich is ready. Serve it with chutney or sauce.

2. Make sandwich with bread

If there is bread left, you can make sandwiches from it. Sometimes, if there is delay in making children’s tiffin, then adding lots of vegetables to roti can make a delicious lunch box recipe. Let us know the way to make it-

Ingredients for making Roti Sandwich-

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 4 tbsp cabbage, finely chopped
  • ½ capsicum, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp sweet corn
  • 1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp paneer/cottage cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 6 loaves, leftover
  • 3 spoons green chutney
  • 3 spoons mayonnaise
  • 1 cheddar cheese
  • butter as required
  • How to make Roti Sandwich-

Heat oil in a pan and then add onion and sauté it for 1 minute. Then add ginger and garlic paste and chilli and fry.

When the onion becomes translucent, add carrots, cabbage, capsicum and spoonful of sweet corn and fry for a minute without overcooking the vegetables.

Add pav bhaji msala, salt, turmeric and chilli powder to the vegetables and mix.

Add cheese, tomato sauce and chili sauce to it and mix. Mix everything and keep aside.

Spread green chutney on half of the remaining roti and mayo on the other half. Grate cheese in it.

Now spread the prepared vegetable stuffing on one half and fold the other half.

Apply butter on top and heat the pan. Place the prepared stuffed roti sandwich in it and cook it from both the sides.

Crisp the sandwich from both sides. Your lunch box recipe is ready. Serve it to children with sauce

3. Make nutritious sandwich with moong dal

There must be many such pulses which children do not eat. You can give such pulses the form of a sandwich. Yes, let us tell you how to make a sandwich by cooking moong and chickpeas.

Ingredients for making moong dal-

  • 1 cup moong dal
  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 tbsp green coriander
  • 1/3 cup cheese
  • 1/2 green peas
  • 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 red chili powder
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • green mint chutney
  • 1 teaspoon tomato sauce
  • 1 stick cheddar cheese

Method of making sandwich from moong dal-

For this, clean moong dal and chickpeas and soak them overnight. Next morning, take them out of water and grind them to make a smooth paste.

Add onion, tomato, green chilli, red chilli powder, green coriander, paneer, peas, mozzarella cheese, chaat masala and salt to this batter and mix well. Keep this batter aside.

Now heat a pan and add some ghee and spread it. Add batter to it, spread it well and flip it after cooking it on one side.

After cooking from both the sides, remove them in a plate. Apply green chutney on one side and sauce on the other side. Grate cheddar cheese in it and fold it and heat it again on the pan for a few seconds.

Your nutritious lentil sandwich is ready. Cut it into triangles and serve it with green chutney.
